The use of equipment in the construction industry has expanded recent years due to equipment's ability complete most work items such as excavation work, casting, and more a relatively short period time. However, real challenge would be selecting appropriate accurately predicting productivity equipment. In projects, choice execute any is based mainly on expertise contractors without taking into account aspect life. Therefore, insufficient planning management have huge undesirable effect time cost project. main aim this research study impact selection sites its through road project Egypt case study. A highway with total length 7.2 km (4.5 miles). determined by monitoring progress earthmoving activities conducting comparison between estimated actual (long boom backhoe). data was collected over 30 days for eight working hours per day each piece As result poor management, 50% predicted rate, that impacted project's 71.5% increase 72% duration.
